Cooling system

Common to all vehicles

Updated to a strengthened cooling-system specification using carefully selected, high-quality Japanese-made parts

Cooling-system components are easily affected by heat and age-related deterioration. When they deteriorate, they can cause coolant leaks, rising coolant temperatures, and overheating. We replace and adjust each component to ensure proper coolant circulation and temperature control.

The Rover Mini was born in the UK, and in Japan’s hot and humid environment, the cooling system is placed under greater stress and tends to be more prone to overheating. For this reason, Classca upgrades the system using carefully selected Japanese-made parts. We replace consumable parts with items such as a three-core radiator and improved or newly developed hoses.

In addition, the factory thermo switch for the electric fan can vary in operation, so we replace it with a Japanese-made sensor. This enables stable control, activating at approximately 92 to 95 degrees and stopping at approximately 87 degrees, helping to maintain a consistent coolant temperature and stable driving even in summer.

We also replace the cooling fan blade with a reinforced thicker type, as the original blade is thin and can deform easily due to heat. This helps improve the stability of cooling efficiency.

Parts scheduled for replacement All carefully selected Classca parts
  • 3-core radiator
  • Radiator cap
  • Upper hose
  • Lower hose
  • Conversion hose
  • Heater hose
  • Heater core

Suspension

When suspension components deteriorate, they can lead to reduced stability while driving, unusual noises, and increased vibration. We inspect each joint, bearing, and suspension component, and replace worn parts to restore proper suspension movement.

On this vehicle, the rear hub bearings will be replaced. Worn bearings can cause noise from the rear and increased rotational resistance. By disassembling the area and replacing them with new bearings, we restore proper rear-wheel rotation.

Parts scheduled for replacement Carefully selected Classca parts
  • Lower arm bushes
  • Tension rod bushes
  • Rear hub bearings
  • Hi-Lo joint kit

Drivetrain and underbody

Deterioration of drivetrain components, mounts, and seals can cause vibration, unusual noises, and oil leaks. This maintenance restores proper drive transmission and underbody movement by replacing worn components.

On this vehicle, the rear subframe mounts will be replaced. As age-related deterioration can reduce body stability, the rubber mounts are replaced to help suppress vibration.

Parts scheduled for replacement
  • Inner CV joint boots
  • Differential side oil seal
  • Subframe mount FS
  • Frame shim
  • Subframe mount RS

Exhaust system

Exhaust-system components are easily affected by heat, vibration, and age-related deterioration. If they deteriorate, they can lead to exhaust leaks, unusual noises, and reduced exhaust efficiency. We check the condition of the muffler, pipes, gaskets, and supporting parts, and replace worn components to restore proper exhaust flow and sealing.

On this vehicle, the exhaust down tube will be replaced. Corrosion or deterioration of the exhaust pipe can cause exhaust leaks, so it will be replaced with a new part to maintain proper exhaust flow.

Parts scheduled for replacement Carefully selected Classca parts
  • Exhaust down tube
  • Exhaust down band
  • Differential side stay

Engine area

Deteriorated parts can cause oil leaks and engine running issues. This maintenance restores proper engine operation by replacing and adjusting worn components.

Parts scheduled for replacement Carefully selected Classca parts
  • Genuine air cleaner
  • Vacuum joint
  • Spark plugs
  • High-tension leads ABR MAGNECOR
  • Upper steady bushes

Clutch

This maintenance replaces worn clutch hydraulic components and consumables to restore proper clutch operation.

Parts scheduled for replacement
  • Clutch master / AP
  • Rod pin & snap pin S
  • Hose & gasket
  • Release cylinder Borg & Beck
  • Clutch fluid

Brakes

Wear and age-related deterioration of parts can cause reduced braking force and unusual noises. We replace worn components to restore proper brake operation.

For the rear wheel cylinders, Japanese-made rubber cups are used as a countermeasure to reduce brake fluid leakage compared with genuine parts.

On this vehicle, the brake master cylinder will be replaced. Poor hydraulic pressure can affect braking performance, so it will be replaced to restore braking force.

Parts scheduled for replacement
  • Wheel cylinders
  • Brake master cylinder

Fluids and other consumables

Items scheduled for replacement or replenishment
  • Engine oil
  • Drain gasket
  • Oil filter element
  • WAKO’S Seal Coat
  • Battery
Upgrade

Upgrade Pack

Included in the vehicle price

In addition to Basic Maintenance, we carry out preventive repairs and maintenance, as well as upgrades using performance-enhancing parts developed in Japan. This menu is designed to prepare the car so you can enjoy it with greater peace of mind for years to come.

Suspension

Front shock absorbers
The front shock absorbers will be replaced. When shocks deteriorate, vibration becomes harder to control and ride comfort and stability decline. Replacing them with new parts restores proper control of the front wheel movement.
Rear shock absorbers
The rear shock absorbers will be replaced. Deterioration can increase body movement and instability. Replacement restores rear-end stability and ride comfort.

Drivetrain and underbody

Outer CV joint boots
The outer CV joint boots will be replaced. If a boot tears, grease leaks out and wear of the joint progresses. Replacing the boot and replenishing grease restores protection.
Striking oil seal
The striking oil seal and dust boot will be replaced. If sealing around the moving parts deteriorates, oil leaks and foreign matter can enter, so replacing these parts restores protective performance.

Engine area

Rocker cover gasket & seal set
The rocker cover gasket will be replaced. A deteriorated gasket can cause oil leaks, so replacement restores proper sealing.
Valve clearance
Valve clearance adjustment will be performed. Changes in valve clearance can make engine operation unstable, so it will be adjusted to the correct specification.
Stem seals
The stem seals will be replaced. Deterioration can allow oil to enter the combustion chamber, causing white smoke and increased oil consumption, so replacement helps prevent leakage.

Brakes

Front hoses & gaskets
The front hoses and gaskets will be replaced. They are replaced to prevent hydraulic leaks and deterioration, restoring a safe condition.
Rear hose
The rear hose will be replaced. This helps prevent deterioration of the hydraulic line and ensures stable brake operation.
Caliper seal kit (12-inch)
The caliper seal kit will be replaced. Deterioration of internal seals can cause malfunction, so the calipers are disassembled and the seals replaced to restore function.
Caliper split seals
The caliper split seals will be replaced. The seals are replaced to prevent leaks from the split sections and restore proper sealing.
Stainless pistons
The original steel pistons are prone to rust, so they will be replaced with stainless-steel pistons. Deterioration or sticking of the pistons can impair brake movement, and replacement restores smooth operation.
Pads (12-inch) Borg & Beck
The brake pads (12-inch / Borg & Beck) will be replaced. Wear and age-related deterioration can reduce braking force and cause noise, so they are replaced with high-quality new Borg & Beck pads to improve braking performance.
Rotors (12-inch)
The rotors will be replaced. Wear or distortion can reduce braking performance, so replacement ensures stable braking force.
Retaining pins
The retaining pins will be replaced. Age-related deterioration and wear can reduce brake pad retention and cause noise, so new pins are installed to ensure proper fixation and stable brake operation.
Shoe ASSY Ferodo
The shoe assembly (Ferodo) will be replaced. Wear can reduce braking force and cause noise, so the parts are replaced to restore proper brake operation.
Drums
The drums will be replaced. Wear or deformation can reduce braking performance, so replacement restores normal braking condition.
