Cooling System

Common to all vehicles

Updated to a strengthened cooling-system specification using carefully selected, high-quality Japanese-made parts

Cooling-system components are easily affected by heat and age-related deterioration. When they deteriorate, they can cause coolant leaks, rising coolant temperatures, and overheating. By replacing and adjusting each component, we restore proper coolant circulation and temperature control.

The Rover Mini was born in the UK, and in Japan’s hot and humid climate the cooling system is placed under greater strain, making overheating more likely. For this reason, Classca upgrades performance using carefully selected Japanese-made parts. We replace consumable components such as the three-core radiator and improved or newly developed hoses.

In addition, the original electric fan thermo switch can vary in operation, so we replace it with a Japanese-made sensor. This enables stable control, operating at approximately 92–95°C and stopping at approximately 87°C. By keeping coolant temperature consistent, it helps maintain stable driving even in summer.

Furthermore, the original cooling fan blade is thin and prone to deformation from heat, so it is replaced with a reinforced thicker type to improve cooling efficiency and stability.

Exhaust System

Exhaust components are easily affected by heat, vibration, and age-related deterioration. When they deteriorate, they can cause exhaust leaks, abnormal noise, and reduced exhaust efficiency. We check the condition of the muffler, pipes, gaskets, and mounting parts, and replace worn components to restore proper exhaust flow and sealing.

Suspension

Lower arm bush
The lower arm bushes will be replaced. Deteriorated lower arm bushes can lead to suspension looseness, abnormal noise, and reduced stability while driving. By removing the deteriorated rubber bushes and replacing them with new ones, suspension movement is stabilized.
Tension rod bush
The tension rod bushes will be replaced. When these bushes deteriorate, the vehicle can wander under braking and straight-line stability may decline. Replacing the aged rubber parts with new ones helps maintain proper fore-aft suspension movement.
Suspension joint
The suspension joints will be replaced. Worn joints can cause looseness and abnormal noise in the suspension, reducing driving stability. The deteriorated joint components are removed and replaced with new parts to restore smooth movement.
Radius arm overhaul
The radius arms will be overhauled. When the internal bearings and bushes in the radius arms wear, they can cause abnormal noise, left-right alignment differences, and instability while driving. The arms are disassembled, internal parts are replaced, and grease is applied to restore smooth movement.
Springs
The springs will be replaced. Sagging or deterioration of the springs can change the ride height and reduce ride comfort. Replacing them with new springs restores body support and ride quality.
Front shock absorbers
The front shock absorbers will be replaced. When shocks deteriorate, vibration becomes harder to control, reducing ride comfort and stability. Replacing them with new units restores proper control of the front wheels.
Rear shock absorbers
The rear shock absorbers will be replaced. Deterioration can increase bouncing and wandering. Replacement restores rear stability and ride comfort.

Engine Area

High-tension leads ABR MAGNECOR
The high-tension leads (ABR MAGNECOR) will be replaced. Age-related deterioration can reduce ignition energy transmission efficiency, causing misfires and engine issues. Replacing them with high-quality new ABR MAGNECOR leads improves stable ignition performance.
Chain case gasket
The chain case gasket and oil seal will be replaced. As deterioration can cause oil leaks, the area is disassembled and the seals are replaced to restore proper sealing.
Chain slider pad
The chain slider pad will be replaced. Wear can make chain contact and movement unstable, leading to abnormal noise and further wear. Replacing the part stabilizes the movement.
Chain case oil seal

Fuel System

Fuel strainer SPi
The fuel strainer (SPi) will be replaced. Accumulated dirt and impurities in the fuel can make fuel flow unstable and cause engine issues, so the part is replaced to restore proper fuel supply.
Fuel pump SPi
The fuel pump will be replaced. Unstable fuel supply can cause engine issues, so replacing it with a new unit stabilizes fuel delivery.

Brakes

Front hoses & gaskets
The front hoses and gaskets will be replaced. To prevent hydraulic leaks and deterioration, they are replaced to ensure a safe condition.
Rear hoses
The rear hoses will be replaced. This prevents deterioration of the hydraulic lines and ensures stable brake operation.
Caliper seal kit (12-inch)
The caliper seal kit will be replaced. Deterioration of the internal seals can cause malfunction, so the calipers are disassembled, the seals are replaced, and function is restored.
Caliper split seals
The caliper split seals will be replaced. To prevent leakage from the caliper split section, the seals are replaced to restore proper sealing.
Stainless pistons
The original steel pistons are prone to rust, so they will be replaced with stainless steel pistons. Deterioration or sticking of the pistons can impair brake movement, and replacement restores smooth operation.
Pads (12-inch) Borg & Beck
The brake pads (12-inch / Borg & Beck) will be replaced. Wear and age-related deterioration can reduce braking force and cause abnormal noise. Replacing them with high-quality new Borg & Beck pads improves stable braking performance.
Rotors (12-inch)
The rotors will be replaced. Wear or distortion can reduce braking performance, so replacement ensures stable braking force.
