Cooling System

Common to all vehicles

Updated to a specification with an enhanced cooling system using carefully selected, high-quality Japanese-made parts

Cooling system parts are easily affected by heat and age-related deterioration. When they deteriorate, they can cause coolant leaks, rising water temperatures, and overheating. We replace and adjust each component to ensure proper coolant circulation and temperature control.

The Rover Mini was born in the UK, and in Japan’s hot and humid climate its cooling system is more prone to stress and overheating. For this reason, Classca improves performance using carefully selected Japanese-made parts. We replace consumable components such as the 3-row core radiator, improved parts, and newly developed hoses.

In addition, because the original thermo switch for the electric fan can have inconsistent operation, we replace it with a Japanese-made sensor. This enables stable control, operating at approximately 92 to 95 degrees and stopping at around 87 degrees. By keeping coolant temperature consistent, it maintains stable driving even in summer.

Furthermore, the original cooling fan blade is thin and tends to deform under heat, so we replace it with a reinforced thicker type to improve cooling efficiency stability.

Fuel System

Fuel system components are easily affected by age-related deterioration and contamination. When they deteriorate, they can cause poor starting, unstable idling, poor acceleration, and fuel leaks. We check the condition of the pump, hoses, sensors, carburetor, and related parts, then replace or clean worn components to restore proper fuel supply and combustion.

Upgrade

Upgrade Pack

Included in the vehicle price

In addition to Basic Maintenance, we carry out preventive repairs and maintenance as well as upgrades using performance-enhancing parts developed in Japan. This menu is designed to finish the vehicle in a condition that can be enjoyed with greater peace of mind for many years.

Suspension

Front hub bearings
We will replace the front hub bearings. When bearings wear, they can cause noise and vibration while driving, and in the worst case, poor rotation. By disassembling the suspension area and replacing the bearings with new ones, smooth rotation is restored.
Radius arms
We will overhaul the radius arms. When the internal bearings and bushes wear, they can cause noise, left-right differences in alignment, and instability while driving. We disassemble them, replace internal components, apply grease, and restore smooth movement.
Rubber cones
We will replace them with Alex Moulton AVON DO-spec rubber cones. These high-performance rubber cones are based on a joint development by Alex Moulton, which has developed rubber suspension since the BMC era, and AVON Rubber, then repeatedly tested and improved in Japan.
Front shock absorbers
We will replace the front shock absorbers. When shocks deteriorate, vibrations become harder to control, and ride comfort and stability decline. Replacing them with new units restores proper control of the front wheel movement.
Rear shock absorbers
We will replace the rear shock absorbers. Deterioration can increase body movement and instability. Replacement restores rear-end stability and ride comfort.

Other

  • Rack bushes
  • Upper arm oil seals
  • Knuckle joint dust boots
  • Rebound rubbers

Drivetrain and Undercarriage

Outer CV joint boots
We will replace the outer CV joint boots. Torn boots allow grease to leak out, accelerating wear in the joint sections. The boots will be replaced and grease replenished to restore protection.
Inner CV joint boots
We will replace the inner CV joint boots. Deterioration of the boots that protect the inner joints can cause grease leakage and wear. Replacing them with new boots protects the drivetrain components.
Differential side oil seals
We will replace the differential side oil seals. Deteriorated seals can cause transmission oil leaks. Replacing the seals restores proper sealing.
Striking oil seal
We will replace the striking oil seal and dust boot. When sealing of the moving parts declines, oil leaks and foreign matter intrusion can occur, so replacing the parts restores protective performance.
Engine mounts MT
We will replace the engine mounts. Deteriorated rubber increases engine movement and vibration. Replacing them with new parts stabilizes engine support.

Other

  • Outer pieces
  • Round tower mounts
  • Diamond-shaped tower mounts

Exhaust System

Muffler
We will replace the muffler. Corrosion and internal deterioration can affect exhaust sound and performance, so replacement restores exhaust flow and silencing performance.

Other

  • Muffler mounts
  • Rear hanging muffler stay

Engine Area

High-tension leads ABR MAGNECOR
We will replace the high-tension leads with ABR MAGNECOR parts. Age-related deterioration reduces ignition energy transmission efficiency and can cause misfires and engine problems. Replacing them with high-quality new ABR MAGNECOR leads improves stable ignition performance.
Ignition coil
We will replace the ignition coil. Deterioration can lower ignition voltage and cause engine problems, so replacement restores ignition performance.
Rocker cover gasket & seal set
We will replace the rocker cover gasket. Deterioration of the gasket can cause oil leaks, so replacement restores proper sealing.
Valve clearance
We will adjust the valve clearance. Changes in valve clearance can make engine operation unstable, so it is adjusted to the proper specification.

Other

  • Genuine air cleaner
  • Vacuum joint
  • Distributor cap & rotor
  • Distributor cap & rotor ASSY
  • Fuse box

Fuel System

Fuel strainer SPi
We will replace the fuel strainer (SPi). Accumulated dirt and impurities in the fuel can make fuel flow unstable and cause engine problems, so replacing the part restores proper fuel supply.
Fuel pump SPi
We will replace the fuel pump. Unstable fuel supply can cause engine problems, so replacing it with a new part stabilizes supply.

Clutch

Clutch master / AP
We will replace the clutch master cylinder. Unstable hydraulic pressure can affect clutch operation, so replacement restores operability.
Clutch master inner kit
We will replace the clutch master inner kit with a high-quality aftermarket part. Deteriorated internal seals can cause hydraulic leaks, so we disassemble the unit, replace consumable parts, and restore function.
Master base gasket
We will replace the master base gasket. Deterioration of the gasket can cause hydraulic leaks and affect clutch or brake operation. Replacing the part restores proper sealing.
Rod pin & snap pin S
We will replace the rod pin and snap pin S. Wear and deterioration can cause looseness or play in the fixed sections, so replacing the parts maintains secure fastening.
Hose & gasket
We will replace the hose and gasket. To prevent hydraulic leaks caused by deterioration, replacement restores proper sealing.
Release cylinder Borg & Beck
We will replace the release cylinder. Since it can cause poor clutch disengagement, replacement ensures reliable operation.
Clutch release inner kit
We will replace the clutch release inner kit with a high-quality Japanese-made part. Internal consumable parts are replaced to restore hydraulic operation to a normal condition.
Clutch fluid
We will replace the clutch fluid. Fluid can absorb moisture and deteriorate, making hydraulic transmission unstable and affecting clutch operation. Replacing it with fresh fluid restores proper hydraulic transmission.
Clutch overhaul kit Borg & Beck
We will overhaul the clutch. Worn clutch components are disassembled, replaced, and reassembled to restore clutch function.
Clutch plunger
We will replace the clutch plunger. Wear and deterioration can make clutch operation unstable and cause an odd feel or poor disengagement, so replacing the part restores smooth operation.
Primary gear oil seal
We will replace the primary gear oil seal. Deteriorated seals can cause oil leaks, so replacement restores proper sealing.
Oil stopper ring set
We will replace the oil stopper ring. This part prevents oil from flowing out, and replacement helps prevent oil leaks.
Thrust metal
We will replace the thrust metal. Wear can cause axial play, so replacement restores proper internal support.

Brakes

Brake master cylinder
We will replace the brake master cylinder. Poor hydraulic pressure generation can affect braking performance, so replacement restores braking force.
Rear hose
We will replace the rear hose. Replacement prevents deterioration of the hydraulic line and ensures stable brake operation.
