Cooling System

Common to all vehicles

Updated to an enhanced cooling-system specification using carefully selected, high-quality Japanese-made parts

Cooling-system components are easily affected by heat and age-related deterioration. When they deteriorate, they can cause coolant leaks, rising coolant temperatures, and overheating. By replacing and adjusting each component, we restore proper coolant circulation and temperature control.

The Rover Mini was born in the UK, and in Japan’s hot and humid climate its cooling system is placed under heavy strain, making it prone to overheating. For this reason, Classca improves performance using carefully selected Japanese-made parts. We replace consumable components with items such as a 3-core radiator and improved or newly developed hoses.

In addition, the original thermo switch for the electric fan can have inconsistent operating characteristics, so it is replaced with a Japanese-made sensor. This enables stable control, operating at approximately 92°C to 95°C and stopping at around 87°C. By keeping the coolant temperature stable, the car maintains reliable running performance even in summer.

The cooling fan blade is also replaced with a reinforced, thicker type because the original blade is thin and prone to deformation from heat, helping to improve the stability of cooling efficiency.

Suspension

When suspension components deteriorate, driving stability can decline and noise or vibration can increase. We inspect the joints, bearings, and suspension components, and replace worn parts to restore proper suspension movement.

On this vehicle, the lower arm bushes will be replaced. Deteriorated lower arm bushes can cause play in the suspension, noise, and reduced driving stability. By removing the worn rubber bushes and replacing them with new ones, suspension movement is stabilized.

  • Lower arm bush
  • Tension rod bush
  • Rear hub bearing

Drivetrain & Underside

Deterioration of drivetrain components, mounts, and seals can cause vibration, noise, and oil leaks. This maintenance restores proper power transmission and underside movement by replacing worn components.

On this vehicle, the rear subframe mounts will be replaced. As age-related deterioration can reduce body stability, the rubber mounts are replaced to help suppress vibration.

Exhaust System

Exhaust components are easily affected by heat, vibration, and age-related deterioration. When they deteriorate, they can lead to exhaust leaks, noise, and reduced exhaust efficiency. We check the condition of the muffler, pipes, gaskets, and support parts, and replace worn components to restore proper exhaust flow and sealing.

On this vehicle, the muffler will be replaced. Corrosion and internal deterioration can affect exhaust sound and performance, so replacement restores exhaust flow and silencing performance.

Parts scheduled for replacement
  • Muffler

Engine Area

Deteriorated components can cause oil leaks or engine running issues. This maintenance restores proper engine operation through replacement and adjustment of worn parts.

On this vehicle, the chain case gasket and oil seal will be replaced. Because deterioration can cause oil leaks, the relevant area is disassembled and the seals are replaced to restore sealing performance.

Suspension

Radius arm bushes + bearings
The radius arm bushes and bearings will be replaced. When the internal consumable parts deteriorate, arm movement becomes poor and ride comfort and stability can be affected. Replacing the relevant parts with new ones restores proper rotational movement.
Front shock absorbers
The front shock absorbers will be replaced. When shocks deteriorate, vibration is less effectively controlled, reducing ride comfort and stability. Replacing them with new parts restores firm control of the front wheels.
Rear shock absorbers
The rear shock absorbers will be replaced. Deterioration can increase bouncing and wandering. Replacement restores rear stability and ride comfort.

Drivetrain & Underside

Outer CV joint boots
The outer CV joint boots will be replaced. Torn boots allow grease to leak out, accelerating wear in the joint. Replacing the boots and replenishing grease restores proper protection.

Fuel System

Fuel strainer SPi
The fuel strainer (SPi) will be replaced. Accumulated dirt and impurities in the fuel can make fuel flow unstable and cause engine running issues, so replacing this part helps restore proper fuel supply.

Brakes

Front hoses & gaskets
The front hoses and gaskets will be replaced. This helps prevent hydraulic leaks and deterioration, restoring a safe condition.
Rear hoses
The rear hoses will be replaced. This prevents deterioration of the hydraulic lines and ensures stable brake operation.
Caliper seal kit (12-inch)
The caliper seal kit will be replaced. Deteriorated internal seals can cause malfunction, so the calipers are disassembled and the seals replaced to restore function.
Caliper split seals
The caliper split seals will be replaced. To prevent leakage from the split section, the seals are replaced to restore proper sealing.
Stainless pistons
Because the original steel pistons are prone to rust, they are replaced with stainless-steel pistons. Deterioration or seizure of the pistons can impair brake movement, so replacement restores smooth operation.
Pads (12-inch) Borg & Beck
The brake pads (12-inch / Borg & Beck) will be replaced. Wear and age-related deterioration can reduce braking force and cause noise, so they are replaced with high-quality new Borg & Beck pads to improve braking performance and stability.
Rotors (12-inch)
The rotors will be replaced. Wear or distortion can reduce braking performance, so replacement ensures stable braking force.
Retaining pins
The retaining pins will be replaced. Age-related deterioration and wear can reduce brake pad retention and cause noise, so replacing them with new parts ensures proper retention and stable brake operation.
